Karen Blixen is one of Denmark’s most renowned writers, with a unique and legendary life and authorship. During her lifetime she published seven works: the first as a forty-eight year old in 1934, and the last in 1960, two years before her death. The most well-known work is “Out of Africa”, which covers the seventeen years she spent managing a coffee farm in Africa. Karen Blixen is known and recognized for her exquisite literary style, her brilliant composition, and her philosophical enquiring mind.
