IKC i Bergen i 2020 er aflyst og flyttet til 2021.

The organizing committee for the IKC 2020 in Bergen has been working hard to be able to execute a fantastic IKC in Bergen in early August. We have ordered new jibs for all the boats, now already produced. We have prepared a Notice of Race which should have been made public some weeks ago, but we chose to hold it back due to the Corona crisis. Venues for the parties are booked, website up and running with a new logo and so on. You all know what it entails to hold an IKC.
It is therefore with great sadness that I inform you that the organizing committee in Bergen has decided that due to the global Covid-19 epidemic, it will not be possible to hold the IKC in Bergen in August of this year.
The organizing committee further proposes to the Admirals that the IKC in Bergen is postponed to 2021, dates to be announced later.

Jeg har på vegne af Dansk Knarr Klub svaret at vi respekterer beslutningen om aflysning og udsættelse til 2021 i Bergen.
Bestyrelsen vil vurdere hvorledes vi skal forholde os til udtagelses sejladserne i den kommende sæson og de besætninger, der var udtaget til IKC i Bergen i år.
